Well Bo Jackson was a college football star, a pro football star, a pro baseball (star?) and added the phrase "Bo knows ......." to the pop lexicon. But to the topic..... Joe the Plumber - not even 15 minutes of fame William Hung - Horribly bad but good American Idol contestant Clara Peller - "Where's the Beef" lady (Where's the Beef?) I worked for the Ad agency that did the Wendy's commercials back then Clara Peller was elderly when those were made and could not hear the word "action" in order to say her lines- so someone had to nudge her for her cue!
