I have always wonder what cyclists and marathoners do when they have to use the rest room some of those races are quite long. I can't imagine they just hold it.

As long as they went before hand they usually don't have to go... I never had too in training or running... |

They key to keeping hydrated for a race like that is to drink tons of water before the big day and not on it. They shouldn't have to go unless they drank a bunch of water that morning which most are smart enough to know better.
