I'm confused. The other day you had a thread about telling your best friend that you loved her and she didn't feel the same and then she broke off all contact with you. Is this the same girl? None of this 'needing to heal' came up in that thread.

I think im DONE with the "dating" thing!!!! Tired of all the HURT!!!! I think the "one nighters" might work better!!!! I hightly doubt theres ANYONE out there, that will be able to come close to my heart EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Seriously? yes.........seriously! The 1st time IN A VERY LONG TIME, I gave love a shot....it was WONDERFUL.........but it once again ended in nothing but HURT!!! I cant do it again! It takes TOO LONG to go on, to be truly HAPPY, when youve TRULY LOVED SOMEONE!!!!!!! Instead of falling in love maybe you should focus on just being friends first THATS ALWAYS how I start out........in ANY relationship ive been in!!!! I believe in friendship FIRST!!!!!!! Well, I mean focus on just being friends. Let the love stuff happen on its own

If you are friends first shouldn't there be some way to talk things over if bad things build? If love sprouts for one person and not the other the friend leaves and you lost on two fronts.

The only expectation I had with my friend is that she understand how much I enjoyed her and being around her, and then the love thing threw her for a loop.. I expect to recover, but I wish my friend was still here.

The only expectation I had with my friend is that she understand how much I enjoyed her and being around her, and then the love thing threw her for a loop.. I expect to recover, but I wish my friend was still here.
