I'm curious, how does your mood change over time?

Do you have relatively the same mood everyday?

Background for why I ask:
Personally, everyday is a different day for me. One day I'll be in a good mood, one day I'll be in a bad mood, one day I'll feel lazy, another day I'll feel amped up, some days I just want to fight someone, some days I feel shy, some days I feel lonely, some days I feel like my life is perfect, and much more.

The only consistancy for me is the daily inconsistancy. I know for certain that the mood I am today will not carry over into the next day.

My mood is affected by the intervals of sleep, how I wake up, how many problems overlap from yesterday, am I fighting with someone?, gross workload I have planned for the day, complexity of same workload of the day, feasibility of finishing workload, predictable events(deliveries), unpredictable events(deliveries that come incorrectly), clarity of my personal vision, whether there is dizziness or headaches, response time to questions, self productivity (am I getting stuff done or is time going too fast?), are favorable customers in attendance or are the customers that I despise or annoy me come to bother me, etc...

Is anyone under this much stress an able to have normal, consistant, enlightened, happy, moods?

well it depends on how your relationship is. as how that person may had been raised on the change of your mood
as there was a guy i was with for 3yrs(he died)almost 3yrs ago) his step dad was verable abusive towards him as well as his mom was... and my actions towards him were changing and he felt i needed to see a counselor so i went to please him, and i learned that it wasent me that was having the problem it was him. and i had broken up with him 3 times prior and my mom even said if i would had gone back to him. my attitude would change all over again... i had even told him he was verable abusive but he didnt see that... everyone else did.. he had a great heart. he would critize my grammer, he would piss me off by doing that.. there was one time we got into a argument for a dang week and we finally made up and within 5min after he said something that pisted me off and instead of arguing over that pacific thing he said. i said im advoiding what you just said for i dont want to start another argument.. he didnt say much about that

i know that i'm the same way as you. it really depends on the day. most of the time i am in a good mood. but things change. situations change. stress changes.

some people instantly leave a bad taste in my mouth changing my mood toward them.

thats really just a fact of life.

they aren't like bipolar swings but typical mood changes.

I'm in much the same boat as you Genius, although I've gone through a few very bad weeks owing to various exceptional things. As far as I can tell the only people with reasonably stable emotions are Buddhists, but they spend their whole lives working on it and even they have rough patches.

Given you mentioned customers I'm guessing that you slum it in the service industry as well? Barista work can cause one to become bitter and irrational at times...
