I have seen a little of that on the forums lately and it made me really sad.

I have wondered this myself. Like with misogyny. Men who hate women and yet will date and marry and torture the woman all their lives by talking down to her, always thinking the worse of her and all other women, treating her as an object and not a human, laughing at her opinions and disregarding them as worthless, pointing out to her the reason he has these opinions using other women's mistakes or actions he considers "slutty" crazy or inadequate as the ultimate example, etc.... Or women who do the same with men. Constantly talking bad about them but yet constantly trying to have one and keep one. My personal opinion it is the person's own disappointment in life showing through. They expected for another to give them "happiness" and were disappointed several times because the fact is no one else on this planet makes anyone else happy. It is our personal responsibility to make ourselves happy and find someone to share the happiness with. |
