(((Moofers))) now it's overheating, it's never done that, made a horrid noise, the hot light went off and it was leaking something.. I checked my fluids the best I could with my limited "this dipstick is for this one and that dipstick is for that one"... I don't know if it's from the cracked radiator fan issue or not... I just know it's an expense I can't really afford right now...

Did you check to see if there was fluid in the radiator? You should see a metallic-looking cap on top of the radiator- you'll need to twist to open it to see if there's any coolant inside.

Just make VERY SURE that the engine is off and cold when you do so, as you can scald yourself with hot steam and radiator coolant otherwise.

There are sites out there that can help you if you don't know how to check your radiator and stuff.

And I'd have to listen to the thing to make a determination, as reading about your troubles online doesn't particularly help.
