I'm getting ready for vacation and I'm getting my gear together. Don't want to forget anything. You have to forget something, it's just part of what people do when they pack up to go on vacation, you can't avoid it, it's destiny. But have a great time, sounds wonderful.

I dont know how big your saddle bags are, but maybe a small zip bag with bandaids and the like. And dont forget the sun block. ...sunblock, gold bond, dermatone surfer face block, and brut. All in little individual pouches. Check.

Get a spare lighter. ...I have a spare and fireproof matches. And a firestarter magnesium brick.

The minute I get off the bike at sturgis 20 people will hand me free can coolers and can snuggies. I end up mailing them all home except for the one I use. Buuuuurrrrpp! Excuse me.

BEAR SPRAY ...ever sprayed a 1200 pound grizzly bear with bear spray? I have. It doesn't work. And I have the scars to prove it. But I need bear bells for the resort. Don't want to scare the black bears when they're drinkin my coffee in the morning.

MSR cookstove and fresh no lead gas in the cookstove. Check. And individual packages of oatmeal and noodles and cans of chicken in case I gotta cook in the middle of nowhere. And coffee maker with silk screen and vaccuum wrapped quarter pounds of coffee. And mountain research packable cookware set.
