Another holiday alone for me.. seems like a sick cycle that can't be broken

Let's see......working on Friday,then there's grocery shopping, house cleaning,laundry..... oh yeah....... we might run down to the local carnival for fun and fireworks!

I am hosting our block party

One of my best girlfriends is coming from Maryland for the week! Wine and fireworks on Saturday and "Thelma and Louse-ing" it all over the state as we feel like it the rest of the week! WOO-HOO!

Seriously this time... If the weather cooperates I'll be going out fishing on my friend's boat then BBQ then Grucci fireworks.

I have a few things on the list actually..

Some of them may get done, and some may not get done..so what i have done in order to deal with this, is to create two lists...

The first list is my priority list, and it includes..

1. Reach a reasonable solution, as to the problem of "global warming"

2. Have a couple of cold beers..

3. resolve issues with the current crisis in the middle east.

4. Have a couple of beers...

5. Research the 100 mpg carb, the hanging chads in Fla, and prove once and for all, that Al gore is a flaming idiot..(this shouldn't take long.)

6. Rebuild the infrastructure of the internet, fix IE8, and clean the carpet in my truck..(while having a cold beer)

My alternate list...

Hang out with my family, grill hamburgers and hot dogs, have some watermelon, drink lots of cold beer, and generally forget about the priority list...

Due to all the rain we are having here.....nothing, plus due to the economy a lot of towns canceled fireworks

We are planning on hanging out at the beach and generally just doing "fun". Fireworks at the lake and some s'mores.
