Topic: In front or to the side? | |

So, when you go out to eat (restaurant!) and the waitress/waiter sits you, as a couple, do you sit side by side or across from each other? Or do you let whatever happens, happens? Do tell - and explain why. :) I'd just asssume sit in front of each other so you can watch each other, but what do I know..haven't been on a date since last summer :)

more often than not, across from someone. We did go to a bbq place and I sat next to him so we could both see the flat screen and watch the game I will get up after a meal and slide in next to him (if a booth) if I wanna be close.

I like to sit across, esp, the first few dates. A chance to look and observe, not the bad things, but the good things about the person.

Hmm... On a first date in a booth, across from each other. If it's at a table, beside them.
If it's "someone" then beside them in both situations. |

I like to sit across from my date -- even if we are with another couple. I like to have eye contact!
Although, it's easier to flirt, smooch his cheek, and tickle his thigh when we sit next to one another! |

If i am out with my girlfriend, we'll generally site opposite, but we have sat next to eachother. You can still gaze into their eyes from there and you can hold hands and stuff too. If i was out on a date, it would have to be opposite. |

Yeah same here across from each other. So i can look her into her eyes while talking to her and see if i can get her to smile or ask what I'm doing.
