First date, across. If he should get a second date then it's because I want to get closer to him, so I'll sit next to him.

We sit across from each other, but he will occasionally come to my side and sit next to me long enough to get a kiss or two

So, when you go out to eat (restaurant!) and the waitress/waiter sits you, as a couple, do you sit side by side or across from each other? Or do you let whatever happens, happens? Do tell - and explain why. :) I'd just asssume sit in front of each other so you can watch each other, but what do I know..haven't been on a date since last summer :) Im not gonna let a waiter decide where i sit. If i am out with my girlfriend, we'll generally site opposite, but we have sat next to eachother. You can still gaze into their eyes from there and you can hold hands and stuff too. If i was out on a date, it would have to be opposite. I meant, the waiter/waitress "sits" you - like leads you to your table... |

Across from the cleavage....obvious one there.
Side to side? No because I would be a righty and she would be a lefty. And I would win the elbow battle. Sorry for the bruised ribs hun, I got carried away.. |
