This site consist of friends new & old and those to come. So unless one takes the time to join in they will always be on the outside looking in.

These sites do not make anyone instant friends just as in the real world one must take the time to get to know those here as well as face to face.

Therefore it is up to each individual if they in fact meet new friends here or if they in fact remain and outsider so to speak.

That is up to each person and what they really want. Either they are a loner or they jump in and socialize only each person can make that choice.

I think when I first joined in, I jumped into the forums and scared the **** out of everyone!!! I forgot I didnt own the place.

Despite the date showing of when i joined, I was here only shortly and then gone for months. Recently returned so consider myself somewhat of a newbie...I just jump in when I have something to say, serious, fun or otherwise. I know I am getting known because I get mail from 'regulars'.If you post, you will become none...simple as that.

I prefer to think of it like baseball. First you can't possibly win if you're not in the game. The rookie always gets picked on in the clubhouse but is ultimately appreciated for what he brings to the team. Heck he could be the next Babe Ruth for all they know, takes time to see his game and everybody on the team knows that. A good team has many players of all differing abilities and assets, and they are all needed and valued. Some are well known all stars, play everyday and the crowd roars when they come to bat. Some sit the bench more often than not but contribute in big ways when it counts. They get less acknowledgement from the crowd regularly but get the joy of surprising people with their unexpected highlight shots. In baseball the most successful hitters DO NOT get a hit six out of ten times at the plate. A perfect game is nearly impossible and a perfect player IS impossible, they all make errors. Most fans (and the players themselves might I add) just want to see a player that plays fair, tries his best, and has fun in the clubhouse and on the field. After all, it isn't if you win or lose, it's how you play the game right?

Oh and one more thing...check out MY # of posts. And I've been here a few years! I'm obviously a bench player! But I've had a few walkoff homers and it's an awesome feeling when the crowds going wild and your teammates are pounding on your helmet at home plate and... Okay, I'll shut up. (It's why I limit my posts...I get going and can't stop! ) You should know by now what my advice will be...

Ok, I need to clarify something............ In these days of high inflation, there is no way you'd get something nice for $20 (£10) apart from a bucket of KFC. I am in no way mad or angry at or with Gypsy, how could I be? This lady is one of the nicest people on this site, her sense of humour has me in stitches whenever I follow one of her threads. I have no reason to be mad at her, sorry to those who misunderstood me.
