I am not a sports fanatic, but have recently come into the possession of a lot of sports cards. These were started to be collected back as far as 30+ years ago.

Included are:
1...Baseball Cards = 1,830
2...Basketball Cards = 50
3...Football Cards = 24

Anyone with any ideas/suggestions on what I could/should do with these?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

much of their worth will depend on the condition of them, as you probably already know...

if there is a place near you that deals with cards, then you could get an idea..there is quite a community of on-line resources as well.

you could use e-bay to sell them if you wanted to...just post come great pictures of them and make sure to ship them out promptly and get good reviews!

the thing is...if someone is looking for the cards you have, they are worth something!

Good Luck!!

I would check out on ebay what some of the more popular cards selling are..

If you have a great card/player, then you could see what they are selling for.

I would do some research to see which to sell as individual and which to sell bundled.

I have a bunch of my son's hockey cards from 20-25 years ago, and there are some of those cards that are worth more than others. also, if you have 'sets' that are not opened yet...and the brand name of the card can also make a difference...

I would research it out on the net for sure!

I was trying to think of the name of the magazine that my son used to get all the time...

http://beta.beckett.com/

here is a source that may be helpful..

Beckett was the magazine that he used.

if i'm not mistaken, i think a mingler - peccy - buys/sells/trades sports memorabilia.

i don't know if his profile is inactive at the moment, but i do see him make appearances here every so often.

you might think about giving him a write and asking his advice.

I looked up Peccy's profile to talk to him about these, but realized his mail limit on age put me over the line...so, had to back off that idea. Thanks!waving

Thanks...I wrote down the card you asked about...I haven't looked through all the cards(1800+), but will look to see if your request is in there.

I also have a MySpace account as well, is he listed as the same screen name as here?

Thanks...
John
