I'd like to know what everyones thoughts on this topic are as I have met someone recently that I have a stronger connection with than anyone I have ever met in my entire life. I'd like to also say that I have never been one to beleive in the whole love at first sight concept, but this person is very quickly changing my opinion.

My own personal opinion -- while I believe it's possible to be very strongly attracted to someone at first sight, I think love is a completely different level.

Yes, it's really all very conflicting for me, goes agaist all my morals.

I've met someone that I have fallen in love with very quickly but it was not love at first site. We found we had a lot in common and things moved very quickly.

If you're basing it solely on "sight" then no I don't think so. Although...I have heard stories, generally old stories from war time (for some reason) where a guy spotted a girl and turned to his friends and said "I am going to marry that girl" and he did. So who knows, huh |

Well, thats pretty much what I'm talking about. not really "love at first sight" but definitly moving ALOT faster than normal, and could definitly become love very quickly.

At the end she left me...so it could be extremely painful, almost like being stabbed and the wound don't want to heal, just keep opening up. |

I have to say, you gotta be on your guard man...I had such a strong connection to another woman...we could almost read each other's mind and even others said, they can't believe how we can get along so well. At the end she left me...so it could be extremely painful, almost like being stabbed and the wound don't want to heal, just keep opening up. Thats another thing thats strange. Normally meeting someone like so I do tend to keep my guard up, but with her it has been completely different. Like I don't need to. I honestly feel like I have known this woman my whole life even though in reality it has been a very short period of time. |

I honestly feel like I have known this woman my whole life even though in reality it has been a very short period of time. just be careful, and take is slowly, although you may not feel like you should. i had this connection, and he uprooted 3000 miles to move in with me. only then did we see how much we had fallen in extreme like, lust, adoration, and hadn't given ourselves time to put a real foundation in place. we're no longer together. so, i wish you the best, just take it slow.
