Say you have been talking to someone online, maybe started chatting on Yahoo messenger. Now you want to move on to the phone-call phase.

Are you just as entertaining on the phone as you are online? Or are you a bit of a let-down? Does the conversation flow or is there a lot of awkward silence?

I think a lot of it depends on who I'm talking to, but nearly always I am just as easy to talk to on the phone as I am online. And I can usually put the person I'm talking with at ease, if they are nervous or whatever.

I'm a bit more eloquent in an email because I have time to think of just the right things to say. But if the conversation flows in IM's for me, it is usually the same over the phone.

I am the same person online as I am on the phone. I'm very open and able to communicate pretty easily about most any topic. I'm also the same in person as online and on the phone. I don't ever want to come across as being a phoney or misleading in any way.

As for me, my writing speaks better and louder than my mouth.

Maybe, i may not be too good for the phone-call phase, initially. But this skill gradually picks up as time progresses.

I think i'm the same on phone or online. I'm just who I am. Don't try to pretend to be anything else.

People tell me I'm better on the phone. The fake Russian accent doesn't really work well in print.
