You know the more and more to look at it..you can't help but to notice that the USA's meddling in the middle east has to do with Israel many times, other times it's oil or some natural resources..strategic crap..whatever.

I'm trying to be fair to all sides here..I think if Israel would conduct its business to according to many international laws and do business without messing around, there can be a lot of things be avoided. For example, it was completely uneccesary to go into Gaza and kill 1500 people..just because they wanna show off their military might or because there was election time there (there was), and to show off who is the boss. This makes them look bloodthirsty and a conquering nation.
Meanwhile I don't agree with the oppostion neither...Ahmadijenad is someone who has no temper control..and yes he is a dictator, but everything has some truth and some lies on both sides. The worst part is, that the US army is sitting right there in Afghanistan and Iraq (completely useless wars if you ask me) and with all the war mongering coming from the past republican party + the war mongering from Israel, put them into immediate danger. The middle east is a boiling pot ready to spill over.

If it was up to me..the US forces would be home by now. This might sound cruel, but let Iraq do its own business..same with Afghanistan. If they can't keep their democracy and sink back to elect dictators, the USA cannot do more..it has already sacrificed too much (for nothing in return so far) and the main focus should be the economy and the US citizens and improving life.

We can't improve others' lives if our or own is declining rapidly. You can't save a drowning man, if you are drowning at the same time.

Thank God that Bush or one of his ilk arnt the president right now or they would have done said or did something crazy and gotten thousands of Iranian protesters killed or something

That is why Obama is trying not to say much about the situation. If he came out openly in support of the protestors it would harm their situation because they would be accused of being American pawns. We want to support them but without it looking like we are involved. Its a very touchy situation and Im sure everyone knows that Bush would have done said something stupid and screwed it all up

Rose, this stuff in Iran has only been going on for a week. No one expected this to happen. And Hillary has said things to appease Israel. The administration is being very very careful what they say right now about the situation going on in Iran for the past week. No one seen this coming Rose. No matter who wins in Iran, they probably wont trust us for many years, but we dont have anything to lose and a lot to gain. We just cant afford to screw this up for those people again. It was a terrible mistake we made many years ago and we need to do the right thing this time.

Fighting everywhere has been going on for a long time. Iran is our business because of our history with that country. Hillary said that stuff BEFORE the events of the past week. And of course there is Israel trying to ruin it for everyone(except themselves) as usual. Dont believe everything Israel and their agents on the news tell you about the Middle East. Also, Iran is a Persian nation and different from the MiddleEast. It is in Israels interest for events to go bad in Iran and for us to remain in opposition with Iran.Its in Israels interest that we are enemies with everyone in the MiddleEast (except them).Most of those problems in the MiddleEast is caused by Israel and we get pulled into it. They have great influence in DC and thats why so many of our politicians say stuff like Hillary and Bush have said

Rose, we weren't in their elections (we dont even have any diplomatic relations with Iran),and we arnt sticking our nose in. Its being shown on the news around the world because it is the biggest story in the world right now ,and the Iranian people want witnesses to whatever happens. Its a global news story.No one is saying we need to get involved and there really isnt anything we can do anyways.

Of course the corrupt right wing goverment of Iran would say that Rose. They want to cast the protests as being something we are orchestrating. We are like the boogieman to those people. Also considering our interference in the past, and what it caused, the protestors dont want us to do anything either except WATCH.They want the whole world to SEE what is happening.We, in the interests of freedom and goodness,should show our moral support of the Iranian people but not do so too blatantly and alienate them. Its a fine line Rose. That is the situation. The Iranian people arnt doing this for our benefit. They want the whole world community to SEE what is happening.

And the only middle east fighting that Iran has done was when we gave Saddam Hussein biological and chemical weapons to use on the Iranian people when he invaded their country on our behalf back in the 80s. All because they overthrew the bloody Shah (our pet dictator)
