Someone reminded me that there are people that log on only when they get notification of e-mail. So that "Last seen over a month ago" doesn't mean we won't ever see them again. Some folks IM and email. Lurker, Perv'n, sneeky peeky types. Some folks don't like to do the forums at all. 
Who was that?

I would think that sometimes they exit the site without logging out. They're not at the computer, but still showing as online. I've done that a million times.

They're perving profiles and pretending they don't have opinions about things in the forums...in addition to sending emails, IMs, talking to their mothers on the phone, fixing dinner, and watching their own profiles to see if they've been nudged or viewed!
It's only natural! lol

Those people who never post..but they are "online now" What are you doing? Are you 'mutual matching"? Searching? nudging someone? just having the webpage open? What's going on? Alright let's get this straight. Let's say I'm a person who doesn't go to the forums and chit chats..so I'm gonna open my webpage to the mingle website...alright..so I search around, but after the 10th search..I kinda start to notice the same faces and so on... So the next time you search I'm only looking for people you haven't seen yet. Then you nudge them? mails them? And how long does that take? couple of minutes? And then what? Seeing them being online for hours, but obviously not posting anything on the forums, so what are you doing? 
If the people you're talking about don't post, somehow I doubt you'll get the answer you're looking for.

They are on what is known as "Stealth Mode".
Go to your Mingle2 settings if you want to find out more about stealth mode. In "Stealth Mode", you always appear as 'Online' to other users. And others do not know that you've browsed their profile. And neither will you know if others had viewed yours too. "Stealth Mode" has its disadvantages too. So its advised never to remain too long under Stealth Mode. |

Lets try this every one that posts go to the online. Find someone there that does not post and invite them to the forms. Lets see if they come over to vist us !!!!!

I'm in stealth and I can see who perved me when they are not in stealth. |
