Happy Mothers Day to you!

Here's to the Breakfast in bed
And the Coffee that tasted like nothing you've ever had!
The toast that is slightly burnt
And Drowning in Butter and Jam!

The eggs that still have shells in them.
That you insist you like that way
And smile as you wonder if you will make it through the day!

The beautiful flowers on the tray
Are meant to brighten your day!
You can't help but wonder though
Whose garden they were swiped from!

The grin and excitement
Showing on the faces of your children
As they hide the gifts
That they made with such care and precision.

You can't help but pause and reflect
That the most precious of gifts
Are your childrens smiling faces.

Some days you wonder
What you were thinking
But then you realize
That those children are your world.
And wonder where you would be without them.

So grab ahold of your children
And squeeze them tight
Enjoy your Mothers Day
As it will be over with the coming of night!
