Dinner at a restraunt where we can talk and get to know each (good time to see if u want to continue with the evening), if everything goes well then a walk in the park or go out for drinks

The beach at night

We have it all in TC, a Hooters, the beach and miniature golf.

A pic-nic in a secluded area of a public park. Bottle of wine and cheese. Nice convo; blue sky's. That would work for me. I don't want a man to spend a lot of money on a first date. I like to keep it simple. It's easier and, more fun that way.

Mine was breakfast and then concert that night

Really... I could just go for a decent starbucks mocha latte.

Go and catch frogs together around a small pond or lake. Skip some stones across the water or pick butter cups and see what kind of reflection you get under your chin. Then go to lunch or get some take out and go sit by the river and after that toss a frisbe around or go rollerblading. Try to make some memories of our own that we can take with us through life. Hey, if it doesn't work out it sure will have been a great day. On the otherhand, if it does workout we can always remember our first date.

I got a little caught up in the fact that this thread was started in the Delaware section. Given that, I was thinking about Boondocks in Smyrna. It's a cool local place to go for crabs. Lots of fun. Preceeded by a hike through one of the nature preserves in the area.

Though, if it were a friends first sort of deal, then the proper date would be a day at the beach. Rehoboth would be the no.1 choice. Hooters is two blocks from the water, right off of the main drag.

I'd make a good guess and take her where I think she'd like to go.

Since the weather is finally half way decent, somewhere outside, a trip to the river or to the lake where we could fish or swim and just hang out and talk.
If that went well...dinner.

After we say hello properly, it can be wherever the wind blows us and we'll have fun!
