Indeed, as you so eloquently put it, jealousy is an ugly trait. But I wonder how many people can honestly claim that they possess love void of jealousy.
Perhaps even if we lack any sort of insecurities, which jealousy feeds off of, I still believe given the right circumstances, jealousy will rear its ugly head...!

I've always thought that jealousy, when in the extreme, is destructive, but a little display of it is kind of comforting and assuring of his chivalrous character.
