BLOOD!!!!
That is the local Blood Banks. Soooooooooo when is the last time you donated blood? Has it been a while and now it is time to help those that need you? For me it had been awhile since the last time I had given blood therefore today seemed like a good day. 
Hopefully this is a friendly reminder to those that can donate.

It's been a bit over 2 yrs I guess. I had to wait a year after having heart surgery, but I've been curious as to whether I can, without passing out. The other 2 times I did, they barely got enough to keep and I was loopy. :-) Course, that may have been because of the hole in the heart and know one knowing about it. LOL!

Actually it had been a more then a couple of years since I had given. And the first time I did I dreaded it yeah I was a chicken chit but then found out it was no different then given blood at the doctors just took a little longer.

I've never had blood good enough for the blood banks. I've always wanted to donate though. |

sighhhhhh they won't take mine. I had hepatitis once I didnt know having had hepatitis stops you from giving blood. Thats the excuse i will use from now rather than admitting i am a drug user! haha |

They don't like me.
One time they turned me away for being too thin. The other time I donated after 9/11. They said my blood clotted too quickly. |

March. But I got sick and had to be on antibiotics so I haven't been able to this month. And they want my platelets next!!

If you have had a Tattoo in the last 12 months or piecing's you have to give them the name of the place ect for you may not be able to donate for up to a year after it just depends. |

I went to give 2 weeks ago and I couldn't b/c it's been less than a year since I got my tattoos... Finally I am not under the weight limit, I go and they still won't take it..

I do every year... Who needs blood when you got beer?

They wouldn't have wanted my blood up to a few months ago. The recipient might have come out of the transfusion a drug addict. Now that I'm clean, I might volunteer for the next blood drive I see if they think they can take a pint of my blood without killing my skinny a$$. It would be worth the free cookie. I like cookies.

i try and donate every eight weeks. religiously.
i missed the last one cause they were delivering my new furniture...and i'll probably miss this one since i don't think they want my funk, lol. |
