I've gone back as an adult. Took some classes at the school during the summer, damn did I feel old!!! Have taken some online classes as well. It's scary, but I found it to be a good scary!

Speaking as one who is a college graduate of a four-year university (graduating in four years no less... not the eight-or-ten years that has become standard nowadays), the thing to do is to keep your nose to the grindstone.

You simply have to attend to the task at hand and not stop until you've graduated. Getting sidetracked and stressing about stuff when you haven't officially even started college will just give you ulcers.

Well... you WILL get your nose sharpened when you keep it to the grindstone, you know? laugh

If there was anything I learned about college, it's that it can be quite the stressful experience, especially when you're going in these rather interesting economic times. You'll be witness to things that will only discourage you from even wanting to continue with college, but you can't let that dissuade you from going on with that all-important college degree.

Like I said- you just gotta go full-bore into it, and don't stop until someone suddenly hands you a graduation cap and gown. Then you can PROBABLY stop.

And be sure to pick a major that is "marketable", too- something you can use that will get you in the door and making money, not something that will only peg you as a "hippie" or "dope-fiend". laugh
