Idol Outcome to Favor Kris Allen.
Those of you that know me will realize I actually do not give a rat's ass about American Idol. I do not watch it. However, I read a story the other day about Brian May of Queen wanting to talk to the AI runner-up about possibly fronting his band. If the guy is good enough for Queen then I'm thinking he is likely better than the contestant that won. |

Maybe it is not just his singing voice that makes him appropriate to be the lead singer of Queen (Never mind the Bollocks!!)- sorry that sometimes comes out when I say the word Queen (Never Mind the Bollocks!!)

adam's glam-rock style is what makes him appropriate for queen. props to adam for a wonderful run.

Chris won, IMO, because he is straight. Adam is hot and delicious and far and away the best performer on American Idol EVER. The judges all said the same, each and every single week.
I'm not saying Chris was bad, but I can't remember a single one of his performances. I remember Adam's, plus his outfit. |

Chris won, IMO, because he is straight. Adam is hot and delicious and far and away the best performer on American Idol EVER. The judges all said the same, each and every single week. I'm not saying Chris was bad, but I can't remember a single one of his performances. I remember Adam's, plus his outfit. I just checked out a few of each of their performances. In my opinion there is no comparison. Chris has a nice voice that is similar to many current artists. He is talented yet utterly forgettable. Adam has an instrument that Chris could not even dream of. I cannot believe I'm saying this, but American Idol may have actually helped launch someone with genuine original talent. Who'da thunk it? |

I really really do not watch idol Why do people care?
We care, (Birmingham people) because we've had 3 winners/runners up in Reuban Studdard, Bo Bice and Taylor Hicks. I think you tend to watch it more when someone from your area is involved. This was actually the first year I didn't watch it. I didn't like the format change they made. I did watch a couple of performances of Danny's because he's Mr Music's 1st cousin once removed or something.

Yeah... is a vouyeristic way. Eye candy....
Plus, I used to wear my hair the way he had his styled at the start of the season. He since has cut it much shorter... but other than the color(s), that was my hairdo! There is NO comparison. Adam is simply superior. In every way. Mitch, isn't it glaringly obvious???? |

adam's gorgeous, but he's a one-trick pony. in every song, he sounds pretty much the same. and don't get me wrong, i ADORE him, but kris is more versatile. AND he's a musician.
they both will have amazing careers. and it's obviously NOT obvious...cause i'm disagreeing with you. and apparently america agreed with ME, lol. |

Lulu... yes.... it's kind of the same with U2. There is rarely any ambivalance there, you either like the sound, or you don't.
