I do--tell something about yourself in here ok?
An US Army Vet. Electrical substation constrution. Ran a shrimp boat one. Was owner operator of an 18 wheeeler. and last very long job was a manager at a debt collection agency in minneapolis. Made good money all my life. ..I am a romantic type of person.. Maybe thats not good, but I am. I am a caring person, maybe too much, but i cant help it. I have two children... both grown and adults. 1 boy 1 girl. I use to be bitter about their mom, but now, I could care less. I just love them..My fater was a bomber in War war 2. In the skys over Normandy france. He was an officer and a gentlesman from Chicago.. My mother, was a home grown southern bell from South carolina,> I was born same city as her.. Florence SC.. Then i was raised in minnesota. I have had great times and bad times,,, So its best to forget about the past and not hang on to it.. To go forward and find the woman who will want to be with me the rest of our lives... a woman who realizes that if i had a doctrine of something, wont make any difference in our last years... a woman who like me, cares more about bonding into one and being there for each other, and never lost the the reasoning of this will work.. will do all to make it work... I think it would then... I love fishing camping concerts, bowling, fleamarkets, and Movie theater,And I love to be in love.......there are many other things I love---walking hand and hand... Talking, cuddling etc etc....... |

Soulmates?
The ever-elusive "One"? Nope, I don't believe in just "One". Soul connections? Absolutely...sisters and brothers, mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, lovers. I have had mothers appear to guide me, when I was not so sure, sisters to hold me, carry me, drag me, push me, when I didn't think I could. Brothers to stand beside me, support me, fathers to share wisdom, courage, or sometimes, just a gentle touch. Everywhere are soul connections to others. The "One" great love? The "One" Soulmate? Pass the popcorn.. |

I'm sorry if I offend anyone with this post.I believe in Soulmates and
Lifemates, now you may ask, what is the difference, well here is some of it, but if you realy want too know, go to ask.com, type in "Difference between Soulmates and Lifemates". Here is what I know about this, Soulmates can be of either gender, children, but you may never actualy ever be together ina relationship with them and if you do happen to, it will not generaly be fo eternity, where as a Life mate usualy lasts. So my sugestion is that you check out the official terminology of this subject. But what do I know, Im just a guy and my opinion of the matter. |

I don't believe in soulmates. I believe in friendship and fellowship
and love for one's fellow beings, but soulmates, no. SheNerd :) |

I've never really felt love except from family. So no, not really I
don't believe in even a concept of love above something hormonal. I would like to base my relationship as much on mutual respect and friendship rather than some nebulous concept. |

SOUL MATES, If a person BELIEVES that the name in their MIND for THEIR
LOVE,,,is SOULMATE,,,,then TO THEM,,,,that is their LOVE!!!!AND SOULMATE!!!! But its what EACH of us see and feel of another, as to what and how we EACH grew up and are philosophies of mind. Some would just be content to call THAT,,,MY TRUE LOVE! Or ONLY LOVE! OR LIFE LONG LOVE!! or FOREVER LOVE! ECT! |

I believe that there is such a thing as being almost perfect for one
another...nothing is perfect, imo. However, I also believe that there can be many more than just "one" who I could be completely content with. Finding these ones, for me at least, has been something that I enjoy, while at the same time, finding many with whom I develop friendships with. I have friends in my life with whom, should the circumstances surrounding our lives have been different, could have possibly led up to a remarkably content relationship. Maybe one that could have lasted "forever"...who knows? What I do know is that based on my past, I have jumped far too quickly at the prospects surrounding only a few of the keys to the heart, and as a result usually take a much broader picture now-a-days, prior to ever entertaining the idea of a permanent relationship. It takes a level of connection that I have been unable to find in someone at a time when we both could pursue that possibility. And Jess...I agree with your insight also, as I too have had many mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, teachers, etc, Live Learn Love Laugh, Michael |

My husband and I were soulmates for sure. People would always say we
went together like bacon and eggs, salt and pepper, and stuff like that. We were only apart when we were at work. Everything else we were together. We were best friends, lovers and soulmates. intil he passed away. |
