tradition is long gone.welcome to the new age where women start making the first move... It doesn't work that way though. Not in reality. Do you really feel this way??? Yes. I highly disagree with you.. guys are turned on by a woman who can approach them and make first moves.. shows strength, self esteem, and courrage.. I have done it and seen it done many of times.. and it does work... What is your reason for thinking how you do?? If you dont mind me asking.

I've asked for a phone number before. RARELY though. I usually would wait for the man to make the first move. But not this time. I took the plunge and by God I got him!

I think many men are so fearful of rejection that they may never muster the courage to ask a woman out. I think that is also true of women however. Some people perceive people to be out of their "league" and just won't ask. It is further complicated by dating sites where you can't tell if someone is interested becasue there is no inflection etc. I personally feel it is ok either way. I have asked men out before. Honestly though, if there were a man that I felt I could have, or feel, a connection with I may be too shy to ask him out...yea, for fear of rejection. It kinda sucks ya know....

The first move for what though? Asking for number? Asking on a date? Going in for the kiss? The first move for what Epicsoldier? Anyhow the answer would be either.. man or gal! Women grab your ovaires.. Men grab your balls.. If you like each other why waste time waiting on the other?? Sure the outcome may not be what you wanted but its chance you take! lol. first to ask her out. XD

i think it should just go by gut feeling. if you like someone ask them out..even if youre a girl. which could cause another debate on why women want gender roles to be gone yet still want the benefits to being a lady lol.

The guy should make the first move because it makes the girl look like a "fast" woman. I was raised old fashioned and I have almost always let the guy make the first move UNLESS he's just not going to. Well I don't want to miss out! lol

I think almost everyone would agree that the man should make the first move. But why is that? I just want to hear different opinions. I always thought the guy should ask the girl out because of tradition. Like, it shows he has the courage to. ....its 2009.
