ooooh, but what a time we would have!
truthfully, out of all the people i've met online...lee's views coincide with mine on so many of the important issues, it's unreal. not a single person i respect more here, literally. hehe...bring on that mud! |

I'm the one on the right, smiling. These guys were leaving anyway. I've
never seen a mudfight but it sounds like fun! |

lol, i've never been in one, either...but it sure sounds fun.
it just seems to me that on this site, many times, if you disagree with a viewpoint, people seem to think you are attacking the person. that is often not the case. |

Have you never just squooshed around in the mud?
Wrestled and thrown it and run around slipping and sliding? Oh my!! You guys haven't lived...we have clay pans here, and when it rains..we if it rains again...a whole mob of us go with our kids, and have a ball!!! So much fun, and so good to be a kid again...not think about dirty clothes and washing and stuff. ![]() |

when i was a kid, i'd make mud-pies and such. where i live, there's not
really much mud...i love to go hiking and camping and such, and i'm not concerned with being dirty then. i do like to stand in the rain with my head to the heavens...and just let it pour. |

Back in the 60s I have dated many hippy women...of course these women
are no longer hippies...lol was a fad |
|
|
|
Yep!
Imagine the look on your kids faces the first time they whomp you with a face full of mud...and you laugh...they love it!!! And rain..we play in the puddles..get drenched...my little one surfs down the gutters with her boogie board, is a hoot! She gets launched at the top of the hill, and I catch her at the bottom!! Breathless fun!! |

That reminds me of my childhood Jess. On our farm was a pit that was dug
out in a vein of clay. The clay here is sold as pottery clay, i guess because it is very finely grained, and we would make bricks and sculpture. My mom wasn't real keen on the idea though. Man! That water was cold when we got hosed off! I can still remember how sunny it was. The milkweed pods were opening and the seeds were blowing all over the place..... Wouldn't it be nice to go back for a day? |

Zap...you can...who said you can't?
Who says? Says who? We can do anything that brings us joy, that causes no harm to another. ![]() |

I live her in Breckenridge, Co. and there are a lot of hippies here
during the winter for skiing and riding and it's not very good. Some of them are not good workers and go from job to job. But for the most part they are nice. I just wish they would shower more. Have you ever smelled the combonation of sweat and patchouli. The owners of the restaurant that I work for politely asked a waitress to go home and shower and she got upset.Patchouli and sweat really hurt you tips as a server. |
