actually no, i wouldn't take it or myself THAT seriously...
i'd probably laugh it off, maybe say it enough times until i annoy the hell out of him and beat his spirit into submission

if you love the girl, why is it so easy to dump her and move on just because of that? maybe she just isn't ready for that kind of thing... is instant gratification more important than being patient with the woman you allegedly love? if so then you didn't love the woman, and she probably picked up on that and decided to ignore it until she felt you actually meant it. |

i asked because this was exactly what i said to my boyfriend last night after he said he loved me for the first time...
i had to get off the phone to go study so we were saying goodbye, and out of the blue he said "bye, i love you" and i said "ok, bye" and hung up... and then about 10 full seconds later i caught myself and was like "oh sh!t... wtf"
