I have heard of no suck power. And you realize the price of deceit that you would pay if you were trying to trick me do you not? Touching his axe and staring at the stranger The Minotaur trys to decide if he is a friend or foe. "Why so threatining? I am but a simple business man that seeks wealth to establish my own Adventure's Guild one day," he says calmly. He then sets the amulet onto the bar. It shows small gemstones circling a eye that glows green occassionally. "I will sell it to you for 40 gold pieces," he finishes as he looks around wondering when there will be service available to him. |

Boromir comes out with a sign to hang outside of the tavern.
It reads: Wild Boar Roast covered in gravy and served with potato dumplings and red cabbage He then walks in and sees the newcomer sitting next to Draven. That newcomer is surely brave to sit next to a Minotaur who has just chopped off a few orc heads the other day. Nevertheless he walks to the man with the eye patch and greets him. "What shall it be? A Goblin's Brew, A fruitful white wine from the High Elves of Silvernarion, or perhaps something sweet and strong such as Grapan Liquor from the hobbits?" he asks. Boromir then pours a dwarven meade for his regular and sits it in front of the minotaur. "I shall have a Goblin's Brew," the newcomer says flipping a gold coin on the bar. Boromir serves it and sets it next to the amulet. Very interesting indeed he tells himself before taking the gold coin. |

Draven looks up at the innkeep,,, i have something for you,,, I took it from the gang i dispatched yesterday. Tossing a bag of gold to him he says: this is for my tab,, i think i will stay close for a while. Looking back at the stranger,,, so how can you prove your claims.

Draven looks up at the innkeep,,, i have something for you,,, I took it from the gang i dispatched yesterday. Tossing a bag of gold to him he says: this is for my tab,, i think i will stay close for a while. Looking back at the stranger,,, so how can you prove your claims. Boromir's eyes grow wide not believing what is in front of him! A pouch of gold pieces so large it would take two hands to pick it up. He can finally own some land and maybe start a farm or maybe be coowners with Criani Peracien? Maybe he can just buy a small cottage at the end of town instead of living in one of the many rooms in the tavern. He then hesitantly takes the gold pouch, but then stops. "Why are you giving away such gold!" You can do so much with it?" he asks while refilling the mug of dwarven meade. The newcomer smiles after taking a big gulp of his goblin's brew. "My name is Kurtosen and I am but a humble merchant from a neighboring town. I have found this around the neck of a old hag that somehow didn't survive her travels into the Nurenhill Woods. I have seen such a amulet before and even saw it in action once. The bearer was stabbed three times and should have fell over, yet the wounds just dissappeared as if it never happened. This amulet possesses great powers. I would keep it for myself, but I am short of 40 gold pieces for the annual "Lucky 7" event that will be happening tonight in the town's hall," he finishes as he looks at the amulet once more. |

Your kindness to me and my Kind has been legendary to my people. "I will buy a cottage at the end of town with this. You shall always be invited to stay if needed. My home will be a sanctuary when you need it. Boromir takes the gold and walks up the stairs to his room to put it away. The merchant smiles at the Minotaur. "I never knew that Minotaur's have such gullible hearts," he finishes as he takes the amulet to stash it back into his leather satchel. |

Lifting the merchent higher he looks him in the eyes,, do we have an understanding?? and he puts the small man down. Returning to his seat the Minotaur looks at the merchant with malice in his eyes, waiting for what is to come.

Lifting the merchent higher he looks him in the eyes,, do we have an understanding?? and he puts the small man down. Returning to his seat the Minotaur looks at the merchant with malice in his eyes, waiting for what is to come. "Well I suppose you are not interested in the amulet. I have business to attend," he says nervously before getting up quickly to leave the tavern. Boromir walks down the stairs smiling. He feels as if he doesn't need to work anymore at the tavern. Afterall he has been working here for awhile now. He then smiles at the minotaur before pouring another mug of draven meade. "The drinks will always be free here Draven. I will always compensate from that gold you gave me so Criani Peracien won't whine about losses. It seems she didn't make it back yesterday. I hope all is good. I can imagine with that rusty old wagon and those hold horses she is deemed to be a victim of assault when it comes to the many barrels of drinks she brings. Boy do they have something coming to them when she wields that magical axe she usually hangs up just above the fireplace over there," Boromir finishes pointing at a empty rack. "Nevertheless, I am worried for usually when she says she will be back a certain day she would be back. I wonder what the delay is?" |

Would i need to go and search for her? I can trak anything,, my sense of smell is above any humans,, and most elves. "Well it is very far away Draven. It is past the Dwanen Mountains into the Valley of Iri****ar towards the hills of Dilan where the hobbits live. She must be on that path. Usually she makes it each time," Boromir mentions as he now pours a mug of Goblin's Brew himself. |

As much as i have slept i wont need to rest on the way there. If you want me to search for her i will. Draven picks up his drink and takes a long sip. Sitting it down, He looks at the innkeeper and asks, Had you ever seen that stranger before? For he come close to losing his life insulting me in that manner.

"Maybe tonight if she doesn't arrive by then I could use your help. Things are not the same if she isn't here running the business," Boromir replies. "I never saw this man in my life. I mean he looked like a pirate at first glance but then later I saw him sitting next to you, so I thought maybe you are friends or something?" That is crazy that he would dare to insult a warrior! He must not want to live a long life that is for sure," Boromir chuckles as he drinks some of his ale before leaving to the kitchen to take out the meal of the day and set it in front of Draven. Well incase you have to go searching for the owner of this tavern, then you might as well have at least a hearty meal." |

Thanks be to ye. It seems no one is coming in today. Maybe you should find someone to put a spell on to serve drinks instantly when they come in and take a rest tonight.

I am hoping it will pick up sooner or later. If not then I am sure Criani Peracien will have a plan. That is if she makes it back from that delivery |

Dragoness enters the tavern after having left predawn leaving gold on the counter for the food and room.
"Boromir do you know a merchant who can sell some supplies for a journey? As the time is coming for me to go to the training ground with my cargo? Time is soon for him to come into this world." The egg rumbling as if it had heard. Sitting down, nodding at the Minotaur. |
