The old historian Gandorn is amazed at how the group is eager to adventure to the Hilly lands of the hobbits. Little do they know how far it is or what dangers lies ahead. What they should carry with them and where it is to camp safely? Ah those young adventurers'. Only few survive the quests to live to tell the tale.
"If only they would have asked me a few questions," he mumbles to himself. He winks at the little hobbit to come closer. "Help get me up young one. My old bones need some rest. If you could provide me a room at this time," he says. Samwise agrees and helps the man to his room and bids him a good rest. |

The day has been long and interesting. Samwise locks the doors and closes the shutters. He keeps the fire going and cleans up the bar and kitchen. After what seem like an eternity he goes to bed to rest for the night. Tommorow he will be up and going again.
He left a letter for Criani Peracien. It reads: Today was a rough day, but I made it through it. I could of sworn Count Dracula hypnotized me to get boar's blood for his drink tonight. I can't be certain for I was truly confused. Howling of wolves and the storms increased when he was here at the tavern. When he left the storms resided as of the howling. We have a few vampires visiting our tavern. Perhaps we should figure out different ways to enjoy their stay. No idea what though? The new minotaur came to the tavern. His name is Blaide and boy is he huge. You think Draven is huge wait till you see this guy! He seemed friendly and had a drink of dwarven mead. It looks like we will need more barrels of that stuff. We are running low since minotaurs drain them down like nothing. No sign of the pixie today, but I hope she comes by tommorow. What a fascinating creature! I left beast with some food and a bone that I cut off the boar myself. I hope he enjoys it. Also Boromir made it back from his first adventure. He didn't talk much about it. It seemed like a horrible experience all in all. Maybe tommorow he will tell us more if he has recovered. Well good night Criani Peracien and beast. Sleep safely. |

{...thinks that eavesdropping is a great way to keep up on all the news...and I can decide tomorrow if this little quest is worth going on...that magic book sounds interesting.} [[Real life: if I can fit this in with work at 3 pm ET (that marvelous time of High Noon, PT), Auryss would like to accompany the group on the quest...but it depends on the workload in the mundane world]] |

Gandorn the old historian walks down the stairs slowly with the aid of his walking stick. He sits at the corner as Samwise already up and early serves the man a breakfast. He sees the Minotaur Draven and greets him a wonderful morning.
He then unlocks the doors and opens the shutters. The day is cloudy but at least it isn't raining. He then writes on the billboard the special of the day. Baked Wuck Fish served with lemon and exotic spices from the Hills of Dilan. It comes with boiled potatoes and corn on the cob smothered with creamy butter. Satisfied he walks to the kitchen to see how the food is coming along. |

Good Morning.

Good Morning. "A wonderful morning it is Draven. I was hoping to keep it as such. I wish for no unusual creatures to lurk in the tavern seeking fights. A peaceful day with much laughter, music, and festivities. Do Minotaurs celeberate?" the hobbit asks curiously as he stacks the table with various foods to eat. |
