blah blah life choice, yadda yadda,
This was not a choice for me and alot of the gay men i know. I have a gay friend that gets physically ill (yes he vomits) at the thought of sex with a girl. I could never be with someone I do not love and since I do not love girls, I could never be with a girl. Gays can reproduce with some help. Surrogate mother for instance (or father in the case of gay women), they can also adopt in some places. As for brainwashing, straight people never do that, look how many people commit suicide rather than disappoint mom or dad. I guess someone forgot to tell them that they are human beings. |

It still comes down to the fact that people really need to mind their business. Two consenting adults of age and mental capability should be allowed to marry if they want to. It doesn't hurt anyone but them if their marriage fails. So why do married couples get a bigger tax-break than unmarried people? Because marriage was intended for the rearing and raising of children. Back in the day, one partner stayed home with kids, and the other supported the family, but that goes back to tradition, which seems to be a dirty word to gays. Point being, the breaks were created to help those raising kids, no other reason. Gays to not have kids, outside of medical intervention of some sort. Many gay couples have families. They adopt. True and gay female couples often have their own. A number of different ways that can be made to happen. |

Marriage is about love and commitment that's it, many marriages do not include children at all and they most certainly are just a valid as any with. Back in the day no longer exists and most families include two working parents if that were a valid explanation then the breaks should have been taken away. Beside why would they give that tax break for couple without children? Tax breaks for children are given separately. "Gays do not have kids, outside of medical intervention" BS, female couples have kids all the time, and "medical intervention" is possible but not required. |

Gays having children is a contradiction to the life choice they made. It trivializes parenthood! Maybe they just want an additional tax-break? The tax-break does not even remotely cover the cost so that is just dumb, and I know you are smarter than that. As for trivializing parenthood, that's BS. Same stupid argument being used so stop gay marriage. That's like saying a hetero-couple who can't have a kid and adopt are trivializing parenthood! They are hero's in my book and you suggesting otherwise is offensive. |

Most States and adoption agency (run by christian groups) wont allow homosexuals to adopt, and it is really, really hard to find an infant or toddler available for adoption. Imagine the problems associated with gays adopting a 12 yr old heterosexual child. The problems created in that child's mind are far greater than the benefit of having an adoptive parent! |

These way of thinking really makes me go hmmmm. A persons sexual preference does not in one way or another diminish his/her character, personality, ability to love and nurture others. The problems associated with raising a teenager are the same be it that the parents are straight or gay. |

I know a lesbian couple that are great parents to adopted sisters. Funny - they even have the girls in a Christian school. They want the girls to get a good education. Those girls have spent the night at my house before. I know them. They are doing great. |

it's that mentality that will keep human beings in the stone age.
Parenting should not be based on the parents sexual preference but more on whether they are good parents or not. |

I thought marriage was not official until you had sex after marriage? Is oral sex between two lesbians considered legit for marriage? |

thought marriage became official once logged in the local registry - once ceremony was performed or officiated.

What century are you still living in? Same old old old tired lame rhetoric. |

The Unmarried Couple Adoption Ban is a citizen-initiated state statute that was on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Arkansas. It was approved, making it illegal for any individuals cohabiting outside of a valid marriage to adopt or provide foster care to minors.
While the measure was proposed primarily to prohibit same-sex couples from being adoptive or foster parents, this measure also applies to all otherwise qualified couples who are not legally married. Citizens? Hmmm. Majority wins. More states should adopt this law! |

or maybe they just wanted children, OMG no way, a human being wanting children, that can't happen. They should think about their wish for children before they make their life choice to be gay! Homosexual relationships dont propogate children. |
