anyone from any place (state or country) is looking for something if they're trying to move too quickly... There is no reason to jump from "hi" to "let's get married or live together"... If they're not looking for something which is rare then they're mentally unstable... Stable/sound people just don't jump into such things without taking time to get to know a person...

Anyone who would email you and start up with the gettin' married stuff right off the bat is rather suspect. I was emailed from some chick who claimed she was from Nottingham, England not too long ago. Her story was that her parents had been recently killed in a car crash in Spain, and that she couldn't collect on the estate unless she got married. And -of course- I just happened to be the one she found to be "the one". Yeah, right. And THEN there's the matter of her not being able to identify various landmarks in Nottingham (I had used Google Earth to kind of "quiz" her to test if she was in fact legit), which ANYONE from the town would be able to do. In short, she was more than likely a scammer. |

This is not about racism.... It's about ppl from other countries.... The UK...... what is their world like? Are they ppl who are looking to hook up with Americans? To get out of their country.. to be Americans.....to live in a better world...??? Scammers????? Someone just thru this at me....looking to hook up...I'm very concerned for this person.... Thank You....

Zanne, the average person from the UK has a standard of living at least equal to that of the average person from the US. An individual may wish to move to the US and might even think they will improve their quality of life there, but Brits in general are probably better off to stay where they are. |

I just delete.....they aren't going to run me off a site..if I choose to be here or there.... I don't look for men here.... I enjoy the threads... and there are a lot of wonderful ppl here... and I also have gotten alot of support being a Marine mom with a son Deployed.. With that said..I am thankful.. and appreciate all who have supported me..during a very tough time in my life.. Thank you all from my....
