Just curious....I saw this in the FAQ's...

"What is the difference between a public and private photo?
Public photos can be seen by anyone looking at your profile. Private photos can only be seen by you. If you send someone a photo in an inbox message, they will be able to see it whether it is private or public."

How exactly does one go about sending a photo in email? I see no option for that.

HAHA....NO! I'd likely shut down the whole site if I tried that. I was just curious as I don't see a way to do that.

You can bring up the private photo and make it public if you want ot click it to private again if you don't want it to show in your site. I don't know if you can send it in an email on this site.

I was wondering also, if you could send pictures in email here, just like if you post them in the forums?

I thought private meant that only people on your friends list can see..

Well not according to the FAQ's Dan. I'm just waiting on Charles to maybe let us know about this email thing.

Well actually you can not send pictures in e-mail that is a misprint that the site needs to correct.

I have directed this thread to Charles in order for them to correct the mistake.

Hope this answers your question.

I am not sure exactly why...i think as Kristi noted above, the ability to send private photos was disabled.\

I just checked this with a friend..You can send private photos. I set one of mine to private, and it worked..the only thing is, if you right click, and copy image location. (you can't do this with internet explorer..unless you download the plug in) (mozilla firefox 3 people!)

Getting back to the issue..if you rt click a thumbnail pic. then that is what will be seen..even if it is private, set to main. rt click, copy image location..and that will work. I just verified this with a trusted friend.

The photo remains private to anybody you have not given the URL to, graysteed.

As Kristi notes above, we are aware that the FAQ for private photos needs to be corrected.
