The size of the city is Fanta. The city population decreased when desegregation started - just like other cities. But...we're building new and they're coming back. |

I somehow seriously doubt that you lovely ladies have much contact with the inner workings of the "GANGSTAH" world...I could be wrong... Hell, I know plenty of dirty people and I have the good sense to distance myself from thier doings. Just to point out something obvious here...some of you honeys are acting like it is something waiting outside your door...I simply doubt it. (I have been in large metropolitan areas and have been mugged at gun point three seperate times)...those were individual events.... Nothing more than dealing with individual A-holes. I also don't want a gun in my house or near my child. Living in St Louis you have more need for a weapon than people here in WNC do! No, I don't.
Dont you live within the city limits of St. Louis? Yes and 45 to an hour away from the side of the city that's doing the crime. Well then! Like I showed you a min ago! Morgan said the study looks at crime only within St. Louis city limits, with a population of about 330,000. It doesn’t take into account the suburbs in St. Louis County, which has roughly 980,000 residents. I'm an 45 min. to an hour away from the crime where the gangs are located. What's your point, Fanta? St. Louis is a large city. What does this have to do with the thread? I asked, Do you live within the St. Louis City limits? Your answer was yes. 45 mins from a City populated with only 330,000 people is not the City limits! As such, Id venture to say that would be a suburb and not included in the FBI report which says that St Louis has the highest violent crime rate in the US. Therefore you would have a much greater need to own a firearm than I. You said that you have never seen an NRA sticker. Maybe that's because honest, law abiding citizens are the ones who stick them on their vehicles. Since you live in a City with the highest violent crime in America, then the reason you dont see them, and yet have a large crime rate, is because the ones with the weapons are the criminals. Therefore it only goes to reason that maybe more honest law abiding citizens of St Louis should join the NRA, buy weapons, and stick the NRA stickers in plain sight! Stop doing tit for tat, Fanta! 
It does take me 45 minutes to an hour to drive to the other end of my city! The gangs are in that area. They like to shoot each other. That's our crime rate. I have no need for a gun in my area. I've never seen an NRA sticker on a vehicle before, that's right. Crime in almost non-existent in my area. What aren't you getting, Fanta? |

NC has two in the top 50, and Detroit, 2nd in violent crime, is ranked 11th by population! |

So only if you are a gang member should you be concerned there. I have lived in gang infested areas where I was the minority and had very few problems. They did shoot themselves and the cops actually shot a few innocent guys but they really don't care about me. good thing, didn't have a gun either, just my cane, but know how to use that as well, long as these old bones hold up

These are new figures and St. Louis is 330,000! There is not a single city in all of Missouri that ranks in the top 50 nation wide. NC has two in the top 50, and Detroit, 2nd in violent crime, is ranked 11th by population! The size of St. Louis has nothing to do with the population. The crime is 45 min. to 1 hr. away from me. What's your point, Fanta? Tit for tat?
At least St. Louis doesn't have a drug cartel and Hendersonville does.
