What are good colors for family picture. I was going to do white shirt and blue jeans.

I am not sure this will help, but when my kids got those picture packages from school, it was always stated to wear a shirt with some color in it. I was told that white isnt good to wear for a photograph. It tends to be too bright for the lights.( I am sure what ever you wear you will look fabulous.):thumbsup:

White can be problematic. But if it is in a photography studio, then it can easily be worked around since there is a greater control of lighting. If it is going to be outdoors, then you might want to avoid white shirts.

Yeah, ours was indoors and a big family so the camera was pretty far away. Didn't have to worry too much about the flash washing out all the bright parts. And there's always different settings on a good camera if you know how to use them, but even so, white can still be hard to work with in direct sunlight.

Low film speed, high stutter speed, and high f-stop settings are best for this type of shooting.
