Oh yeah, forgot about dislocating my shoulder in a motorcycle crash last year too. That hurt just about as bad as the broken back.

I think a toothache is the worst.

Broken left leg. No. Broken right leg. No. Broken right ankle. No. Broken back and 6 months of traction. No. Broken rotator cuff. No. Broken wrists. No. Shot in combat with an AK 47- once in the leg, and once in the belly button. No. 1 bell ringer of a heart attack. No. Cancer removed. No. What excruciating pain could be worse than all of the above things I endured? June 26th, 1998 I took a bolt of lightning in front of 50 of my freinds. Melted my shoes, set my jeans on fire, burned my left hand and feet black. Burned holes through my shirt. Laid me out cold and gave me one hell of a perm. Lightning is hotter than the surface of the sun. 2 amperes will kill you. My body took 2 million amperes. It took me a year to actually describe what it felt like but I can describe it now. Remember when you were a kid and you slammed your pinky in the car door? You knew you slammed your pinky in the car door because all the nerves in your pinky screamed instantly to your brain all the pain all at once. What does it feel like to be struck by lightning? Imagine your whole body getting slammed into a car door. Every nerve in your whole body head to toe screaming pain to your brain all at once, short circuiting your brain with the overload of pain receptors all screaming at once, knocking you out cold. Just remember....with lightning strikes there's no rolling thunder in the distance. There's a big BOOM!!! And that BOOM!!! Is you. My parents bought me a cemetary plot the next morning and I lived. The doctors gave me 5 years to live. And I now have a rare form of arthritis. My bones break easily. I have to be careful. But you won't see me waving an aluminum baseball bat or golfclub in a lightning storm. Because getting struck by lightning hurts. Wow Kyle I say you take first prize in this one shshs see the moral of the story no matter how bad you think you have had it someone else has always had it much worse. kuddos to you Kyle keep on keeping on............. |

Thank you. I never give up. And I never surrendered. People wonder why I'm so strange and silly. Well now everyone knows why. I do not joke when I say I've lived my life like a modern day forrest gump. You have to enjoy life and celebrate it. You just have to be a bit more careful later in life. Your body can only take so much stress.

Funny, out of all the critical injuries I've had, including that heart attack the 4th, the WORST pain I ever had was a damn dentist shoving a needle behind my eye tooth up into the roof of my mouth. It really felt like he was drilling for fluid in my freakin' eyeball with a hot poker. And it lasted like...forever. Usually when in action or critically injured, that adrenaline rush/time dilation is cool. I hate to love it but I do. Everythings so clear and in SUCH slow motion...and you fel no pain (until later). SO..the next time I have anything like that done, I'm asking him to pin me dowm behind the chair with some gunfire first! That s**t HURT!!! I have to agree with you about the shot in the place, feels like its going in your eye... OUCH Also have done the gallbladder thing...thought I was having a heart attack, couldn't sit, stand or lay down.. |

Broken hearts suck too. D'oh! *looking at your pic* Bike wreck? Were you wearing a helmet or just a brain bucket? I never rode with anything less than a full face helmet. My second crash at about 80 MPH took off a lot of skin from my shoulders, forearm, knees, hands, and ankles, but my head was just fine. I got right up and started dragging my bike out the road. I will never ride without full body gear again. |

And who can forget that steel pipe that fell off my load and karate chopped through my hardhat, my softcap, and my head a month and a half ago putting me in the ER? The picture that got me 300 viewers. Ouch. Thank god and polymer hardhat designers. If I had not had the hardhat I'd surely be dead.
