It's hard to say what's been most painful for me. Probably a car accident, seeing how I am in so many.

I had road rash on all over my arms and legs when I was nine yrs old, in the 70's the didn't have the burn treatments they have now, they had me sit in a whirlpool iodine tub everyday- %^#$$#^%^^((*()))##@@!!!!!!!!

Damn! It hurts me just to watch em crack that sternum open with that screw thing. If I ever need that, nice knowing you all. I am not going there.

I've injured myself a lot over the years, thanks to stupid antics. But easily the worst pain I've ever experienced was passing kidney stones. Beat the broken bones, appendix rupturing and childbirth hands down.

Ive had 2 open heart surgeries. One when i was 19, and the other when I was 22. I hope to have no more in the future, but I still dont know for sure.

When I got beat up... teeth knocked out,2 black eyes.

Wow. They pointed out some problems with my heart valves and some damage done to my heart when I was getting those last stents in but I was so doped out on morphine I couldn't remember (or care) what they said. I just thought it was cool watching them steer that thing around in me.

But you're stronger than me, or love life more...or both. Cause I've decided that if it comes to them cracking my chest and laying up for a month in pain, I'm not doing it. I'm old, single and don't even see the tunnel anymore, much less the light at the end of it. And I sure can't complain about a boring life!

God bless you girl. I am going to say a prayer for you tonight that you never ever need to have anything else done. I'm pretty sure that mine are answered fairly regularly.

Painful broken heart when Jewel Kilcher married Ty Murray instead of me!

Broken back. Damn lucky to be walking now.

Mine was from a trail ride we stopped for lunch thought I had found the perfect place to tie my son's horse and mine up problem was there were a few small branches sticking out from the one big branch. So I preceded to break them off first couple no problem got to the last one was bending it back it broke in half instead near the bottom and popped back up knocked off my sunglasses and preceded to do it's damage across my eye itself. After I got up off the ground I was directed towards the medic on call. Which told me to head for the ER. Hummm but........I wanted to finish the trail ride. He at me told me your gonna do it anyway but please ER as soon as it is over. Think he thought I was hard headed

Well made the ER as soon as I got through had to have a friend drop off my horses for I could not do that nor drive by that time. Got in the ER and they did their thing found out I had scratched it so well there was not many places it did not scratch but was lucky for no puncture wounds.

But I must say that was the worst hurt I have had and I have had kids, gall bladder surgery and jaw broke for dental reasons and wired shut for 6 weeks and that one still tops anything I have ever had done.

I did feel real physical pain when I had to put my dog simba down, she was 14 years old and my best friend, i was physically as well as mentally miserable for 2 months could barely eat or sleep and had to go on meds to finally get a good nights sleep

I so remember that very well the love lost is just as if we lost one of our own.

Hey Kristi!!! And the poem U wrote touched my heart more than U will ever know!! My Mingle (JSH) family helped me soooooo much in that horrible time of my life!!

Broken left leg. No. Broken right leg. No. Broken right ankle. No. Broken back and 6 months of traction. No. Broken rotator cuff. No. Broken wrists. No. Shot in combat with an AK 47- once in the leg, and once in the belly button. No. 1 bell ringer of a heart attack. No. Cancer removed. No. What excruciating pain could be worse than all of the above things I endured? June 26th, 1998 I took a bolt of lightning in front of 50 of my freinds. Melted my shoes, set my jeans on fire, burned my left hand and feet black. Burned holes through my shirt. Laid me out cold and gave me one hell of a perm. Lightning is hotter than the surface of the sun. 2 amperes will kill you. My body took 2 million amperes. It took me a year to actually describe what it felt like but I can describe it now. Remember when you were a kid and you slammed your pinky in the car door? You knew you slammed your pinky in the car door because all the nerves in your pinky screamed instantly to your brain all the pain all at once. What does it feel like to be struck by lightning? Imagine your whole body getting slammed into a car door. Every nerve in your whole body head to toe screaming pain to your brain all at once, short circuiting your brain with the overload of pain receptors all screaming at once, knocking you out cold. Just remember....with lightning strikes there's no rolling thunder in the distance. There's a big BOOM!!! And that BOOM!!! Is you. My parents bought me a cemetary plot the next morning and I lived. The doctors gave me 5 years to live. And I now have a rare form of arthritis. My bones break easily. I have to be careful. But you won't see me waving an aluminum baseball bat or golfclub in a lightning storm. Because getting struck by lightning hurts.
