To me it sounds like a form of child abuse. She apparently had no concern for the child's welfare let alone her own. A 2 hr drive? Man, anything could have happened. I certainly would let the court know about it.

My ex is in prison for this. He went in when my son was 7 and won't get out until he is 19. (he is only 13) And I had to split custody for two years. I called the cops many, many times when he had my son. Eventually he lost all parental rights.

Morphine????
Holy Sh it!!!!! I wasn't allowed to leave until a ride picked me up when they used morphine. So she picks him up and is supposed to be his ride and then lets him drive... Did no one at where ever he was given morphine actually explain things to her? Assuming he was actually administered it properly.... |

John, how do you know this? Did your ex tell you willingly? Did the boyfriend?
I know you are frustrated and feel out of control with regard to your daughter, but all you can do is report it along with the rest of the garbage. |

Keep written records. I did for two years. I know from experience that it is tough and frustrating, but time will tell the truth. I documented everything. And I don't use the word everything loosely.
I know it is tough. I can say this because I lived it. Hell, I went as far as getting fake I.D.'s for me and my kids to leave the country. It is awful. So trust me when I say: Time and Patience. I know it sux now, but it will pay off in the long run. |

You almost have to drug test him or get her to testify to his behavior and see him take the pain medication. If she denies it there is nothing the court will do. You will need to obtain actual evidence that he was driving under the influence. Getting pulled over for a dui with your child in the car should do it. but anything short of that will be tough |
