Alright about a month ago I put a perm in my hair and it turned out horrible. I'm thinkin about gettin my hair cut short to get rid of it. This is a pic of me younger with short hair. Get it cut or no???

flowerforyou it's very easy to take a perm outflowerforyou you just buy another perm kit but don't use the curlers keep combing your hair straight while you have the chemicals in your hairflowerforyou

I've managed to fry the h*ll out of it. I'm thinkin the best thing is to get it cut. It'll grow back. I'm just not sure about goin that short again.

i was going to say, unless you like the short hair or are just looking to change up your style for a while, i wouldn't cut it. it takes longer (for most people) to grow it back than it does for a perm to relax.
i only know this because my mom's been getting perms for as long as i can remember and it seems she's in getting it done every six to eight weeks.
i'm sure you'll look fine either way.

I wouldn't cut it.

Go to the salon for heated conditioning packs twice a week for a month to restore moisture, and help the ends. Do trim it a little bit.

Use an ionic straightening iron to style it until the perm relaxes. Also, use a really good smoothing serum after you style your hair. flowerforyou

I like Redken, Kenra, and Kerastase! flowerforyou

NO DONT CUT IT Ha, I tend to like long hair, you can get a jel hair straightener, or just let it wear out, but since you are asking my opinion, You Just got it!, Let it Growflowerforyou blushing

I had a preoccupied stylist put a perm in my hair before and fried the bejeebers out of it. The advise I was given and took was to use Biolage Conditioning Balm daily to the tips of the hair. You don't need very much, as a little goes a long way. It was amazing, the stuff work wonders. When I went in to get it trimmed up - used a different stylist. flowerforyou

I was just thinking the other day that I was gonna go get a perm - went to the salon and got my hair cut off instead...LOL I told her, I just need something different. Something different is definitely what I got ohwell
