i talk to him every week, and we get together once every few months or so. talk about charisma yeah? he's got some i'd check in arizona, nevada, texas, utah, oregon, and california....get the hell away from mich...and the snow, lol.

I would really like to live out in arizona. I hate the cold and would love to have sun most of the days. Is there lot of job there? I was actually thinking about hooking up with the traveling nursing to see where they can find me job and a place to live.

How 'bout Atlanta? It's warm here, but no too hot, and we've got more hospitals than you can shake a stick at. Can't beat the southern hospitality anywhere else in the US. Lots of museums, theatres, parks and the like. Good music scene. Little expensive but still affordable. Public transit will drop you off anywhere you need to go; hardly need to drive anywhere if you live near a train (MARTA)station. Any service you need is easy to come by. And yada yada yada.

thanks man, i hope so, but i'm too silly and lively for here. it's extremely straight laced, and you and i would be dangerous, just from dry humor and slapstick humor, and the more straighfaced they'd become, the more we'd be rolling! it would just be too funny.

dolphin, my heart goes out to ya girl, and you're gonna be happy when you get out of here. i'm leaving at the middle to the end of may, back to fla. i'm not a mich type like steve and those guys, and there's no special effects work here, but being a katrina transplant veared me here. i sure would like to keep in touch with you, and i'm here if you need to talk, and i'm here for just friends so, no alterior motive, and.......just go for it! if you want arizona or atlanta, go for it!

Stay away from Illinois whatever you do...this state can't even keep itself above water much less the citizens that reside in it.

Utah has top-notch medical facilities and pretty good staff...that's the only place I've been to a hospital for emergency reasons though, so my view is biased.

My sister-in-law says the best hospital to work for is the cancer hospital in Houston. She moved to Oklahoma to be with my brother until he retires military and then they are going to be settling down in Houston.

My daughter and my sister are both reg. nurses here in Wichita. My daughter works with psych patients and my sister works for home health. She likes the home health because her kids are young and for the most part, she has control over her schedule.

Wichita, KS - not exactly the place to go to if you are looking for consistency in temperature. We can have snow and a silly tornado warning in the same week. The weather is always changing. The only thing constant here is the wind!

i loved San Antonio when i was in the army. but the humidity there was similar to what we experience here in illinois. i'd still take that over the winters here.

not a lot of jobs in hawaii, there are tons in texas, whats up with that. If u were to move to texas where is the best place to live and why? Hows the cost of living there? Its so damn hot there in the summer though.

Years ago my sister was an RN in San Antonio. She didnt like the fact that she had to take care of so many patients. She considered it unsafe. But maybe thats just normal in the usa.

They actually paid her rent and even bought all linens, dishes etc to get her there.
