She Is Just Away
We cannot say, and will not say. That she is dead. She is just away. With a cheery smile, and a wave of her hand, She has wandered into an unknown land. And left us dreaming how very fair. It must be since she lingers there. Think of her faring on, as dear in the love of there. as the Love in here. Think of her still as the same, we'll say. She is not dead, she is just... away.

I just spoke to Mitch on the phone, and he's actually taking this fairly well. I didn't want to take up too much of his time, as I know he's got enough on his plate to deal with, but he says he very much appreciates all the outpouring of condolences from everyone. Just goes to show that the person who has friends is truly blessed.

I have been offline all evening, so I just saw this now. I normally do not post in threads of this nature, not out of lack of compassion, but rather out of lack of something meaningful to say. I have much difficulty expressing my emotions on death. Despite that, I cannot ignore the time of sorrow of a good friend that I have made, regardless of the fact that I neither knew nor ever met his mother. Mitch, you have my sincerest condolences for your loss, my friend. As I stand on a mountaintop as the great bird approaches, she is small in my sight but grows larger on approach, until I am blessed with a full sight of her graceful wings, proud countenance and good company. All too quickly, she grows small again on the horizon and disappears from view. And I call out: "There, she's gone!" But there are other mountaintops beyond me. And at the precise moment when I note the great bird's departure from my view, I know there are new eyes taking up the sight of her and fresh voices calling out: "Here, she comes!" I have to agree with Keith on this...& I couldn't have said it any better...my thoughts are with you, Mitch...

Mitch i am so sorry to hear of the loss of yer MOTHER,i know it is hard but just remember she went home on the wing's of a ANGEL AND IS NOW IN THE ARM'S OF GOD AND IS LOOKING DOWN ON U AND WILL ALLWAY'S BE WITH U.MY PRAYER'S AND CONDOLENCES ARE WITH U AND YER FAMILY AT THIS TIME OF NEED WE  U MITCH
