do you really want to live a life for all of eternity?

won't you get bored eventually?

how do you treasure life when there is no death?

how do you treasure joy when there is no sorrow?

does worshipping someone who demands to be worshipped constantly and forever seem like a good idea?

ohwell what

Never understood the term "worship" as you say in your last post.

Why worship at all? I don't like to see myself as a lesser identity of anything, which is a "no no" for most religions. Why can't we see ourselves as equals or something higher. Why not? Are you going to let any book, scripture, or person tell you otherwise?

I prefer not to and want to value my life as equal at the least.

Living a eternal life we maybe already, but don't know it in human form? We live many different lives perhaps each time forgetting the last life as a whole?

or perhaps the atheists have it right. Nothing is after we die and our life or soul is not eternal afterall and we should stop fussing about it and live the "now" of life like never before.

The many questions each person asks remains unanswered leading to agnostiscm if we are true to ourselves and to others.

Yet if we have to believe in something to help us feel better with our lives, living amongst others, and have somekind of meaning then use it as long as it doesn't discriminate, hurt, destroy, or shed negative energies to others.

So in the end your answer to the question is a question: "Why not?"

do you really want to live a life for all of eternity?

No, definitely not.

won't you get bored eventually?

I'm already bored. If not for writing, I'd be ready to go right now.

how do you treasure life when there is no death?

It would just be another part of the creeping, lingering inevitability. Like Oxi-Clean commercials.

how do you treasure joy when there is no sorrow?

Those are just anthropocentric reactions.

does worshipping someone who demands to be worshipped constantly and forever seem like a good idea?

ohwell what

Does worshipping anything seem like a good idea? Does it matter if it's a made-up deity or a made-up pelican or a made-up stick painted orange? I don't think so. It's just one more thing to pretend about.

how do you treasure joy when there is no sorrow?

We are already in 'eternity', we just happen to be living part of it here.

do you really want to live a life for all of eternity?

Yes, there is so much in the universe to see and understand. Too much for just one life. I intend to be cryogenically preserved when I die, so I can maybe be brought back some day for another round.

won't you get bored eventually?

No.

how do you treasure life when there is no death?

You could afford to be a lot more bold and adventurous.

how do you treasure joy when there is no sorrow?

Why does there need to be one to have the other?

does worshipping someone who demands to be worshipped constantly and forever seem like a good idea?

Sounds boring, at least the idea of hell sounds entertaining. After a while one would become immune to a certain form of torture, so satan would have to mix it up a bit to keep things lively.

ohwell what

Eternal life in human form would be interesting if it came with a IQ of Albert Einstein and the health of Carl Lewis.

I mean what use is of eternal life if you are sickly, suffering, and hurting.

What use is eternal life if one cannot discover new things at the process?

So yes eternal life would be a interesting endeavor, but it isn't possible it seems. Why it is like this I will never know?

I looked at the life of a Brazilian Nut Tree. It lives for 500 years before it actually kills itself. Who would ever think?

It grows these thick bark vines and actually twists and turns around its main bark practically suffocating itself and dies leaving the inside hollow.

That was fascinating to see this show and it had me thinking that not even a tree lives a eternal life, although some have lived for many thousands of years. I think the tree lives here in the states called "General Sherman" or that is the name it was given. Supposingly it has been around before the Ancient Eygptians build their pyramids.

One sure thing nobody can dispute is that we are all going to die one day.Dispite what you believe or not believe two things are going to happen. You are going to live forever in a good place or live forever in a bad place.I am not going to debate being dead forever because the only people that belive that is the Aiethest and we know debating Aeithest is just a waste of time.I am also not going to debate re-incarnation because that has been debunked many times manily due to the fact you have more people being born than you have people dying.

So getting back to the Christian belief. If I am going to die and either way I am going to spend eternity awake and alive then of course I am going to choose the best place.Only a idiot would want to spend eternity in dark, horrible place, with ugly people, and burning fire.

You don't get bored in heaven.God takes away things like bordem. There is also heaven and the earth so between those two you wouldn't get bored anyways.

You won't remember death because there is no death in heaven and it would be like you never saw it or remembered it.

I worship God everyday why wouldn't I want to do it in heaven?
