^^^Ah yes, the 'company policy' type manager. They are the ones unable to make decisions for themselves even when something outside of company policy would be better for everyone concerned, including the company. I preferred the managers with more of a backbone be seeing you ![]() But you said you would have fired me, and i was of use to the company. Make up your mind be seeing you. |

the music stopped, the drums came to a slow, the guitars no longer wailed, and no more voices gave forth their hail, and dan99 cried and cried, as the champion thread was about to die, as it lay sick and moaning about to expire, cast down to the mingle earth, stuck in the mingled mud and mire, wiggling and struggling and gasping for air, trying it's best to gasp and survive, but there was no more sound, and all grieved a sad frown, the thread gave up her last word and breath, slowly fluttered and stuttered, and laid down and died...

I'm adressing this to the fella's, but all are welcome... I was in Wal-Mart yesterday, getting the usual; Birthday cake, motor oil, mulch, fish food, D.V.D.'s, a shower curtain, food processor, chips, beer and ammo ( don't ya love Wal-Mart?), when I stopped by the Deli counter ( I owed somebody a pound of pastrami ). The two young gentleman behind the counter had hairnets on their chins. Now I think it's great that my local Wal-Mart is on top of these things, but all I could say to the kid was, " Yo, bro. Why don't you just shave?" He said, "huh?". I said, " Nevermind. " I guess dignity went out with muscle cars. Oh, by the way. He didn't have any pastrami. peace. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

then suddenly, out of no where, she came back to life, and all was well, and the champion championed even over death herself!!!
hoop hoop horay, hip hip horay, hoop hoop horay, and beard nets fell from the sky, for all the men of the earth, large and small, tall and wide, and all were happy, and beards took over the planet with beardly wisdom, and all the women of the earth triumphed in sexy glee, over the fall of the shaved baby faces that once ruled...... peace to the beards of the planet earth... |

I don't know about other states (although I'm sure the policies are pretty much the same), but here in Virginia if you are working around food, (whether directly or indirectly), you are required to wear hair nets, beard nets, gloves, etc. because of the Health regulations. They are pretty strict and most companies demand their employers to adhere to those policies so the company won't get penalized.
But seriously, if you were wanting to buy some deli meat from that same Walmart as stated by the OP, would you really want to risk getting meat that had remnants of beard hair in it just because they didn't want to follow policy? I wouldn't. And I don't mean to sound like a prude, but if they aren't following proper policy and procedures when it comes to handling my food, I don't want it! |
