Ah yes the days gone past , rotary phones, no cable, having to get up to change the station on the tv & when you got sent to your room there wasn't a damn thing to do while you were there. My father thought of me as his T.V. remote...oh, and no such thing as a 'private' conversation when I was a teenager, either. My father was hanging on every word. You know i hated it too when my parents could hear or would pick up the other line to listen in to my conversation. But u know i was paid attention too and my parents cared what i was talking about or to prevent me from getting into trouble. I really think that the kids today could used a bit more of parental control. |

For those of you who have one glued to your head 24/7, or allegedly "need" it for your job,....y'all need to find a new line of work. For some people, there is absolutely no way to get around having one on you at all times for their job. I am one of those people and I absolutely love my job. Sometimes, it's a necessity. |

Nah, I'm glad I have a phone I can take anywhere. But I do miss the days of having a hard line that doesn't drop every 5th call. So I should have a landline hooked up by the end of the day, if these people will ever actually come through for me.
