Les still plays every Monday evening at "Trillium" in Manhattan......The man is truly a great one!

Actually, it's the Iridium, but you were close. Still kickin' ass at 93 years old. I would love to get the chance to see him play. He's from my state, and I've never had the opportunity to see him. |

But, Sting's "Englishman in New York" I really dig on. and Ella Fitzgerald friggen RAWWWKED!!!! But, for the freak music fetish genre'... I gotta stick with Gene Krupa. Let me know when you start a big band/jump swing thread...I will be all over it! |
