For a couple weeks, I didn't have a photo up either, but it was simply laziness. It may just be that they haven't gotten around to posting it, or they're hoping that they can get to know someone prior to bringing looks into the equation?

Some are trying to hide their identity. I've read a few profiles that say they need to remain anonymous for one reason or another. I assume they are married or taken.
Maybe they don't have pix loaded onto a hard drive? Possibly they don't have confidence in themselves? |

 it means they couldn't take the time to either put up a fake pic or take one of themselves and aren't really committed to looking for a relationship or date

It's telling me that the "totally hot twenty-three year old cheerleader" might in actuality be a forty-five year old mailman named "Earl".

I find it hard to take someone seriously if they can't bother to upload a picture. It is hard, and even harder to trust that if they DO send a photo, that it's actually them. Had one guy say he'd email photos, he was just "shy". He emailed the pics, and it was obvious they were googled male model pics. He hosed up, and included two different men, lol - they looked similar, but eye shapes were different, cheekbones, etc. He claimed he had wanted to meet someone who appreciated him for him, not his looks. I just shook my head and blocked him, lol. |
