is your World view based upon what The Media tells you to think or can you "think for yourself" be seeing you

I don't live by what the media tells us and definitely think for myself!

i dont watch the media, and when i do i believe half of what i see and none of what i hear

Media has an agenda (whatever it may be in any particular case), the agenda is always self-serving, therefore biased, therefore needs to be questioned.

I watch,I listen...but I don't believe a word

We all live in a bubble as far as knowing whats going on in the world. You know 90% of what goes on in your own home, if you live alone. 10% of what goes on next-door and 0% farther than that.

Example: Several years ago I saw US news reports covering Israels assault on Hebron (not the last one). "Our" news reported that an Israeli APC had blocked, then pushed a news van off the road. I watched German and French news on the same subject and SAW the same taped event but with Israeli troops machine-gunning western reporters on a hotel balcony overlooking the fighting, from the same APC, and killing two of them..THEN they pushed the vehicle out of the road.

You get the "news" that the media wants you to get so they can control the views of the people. No matter how much you "know", you know nothing.

what i think is purely a matter of what electronic signals get transmitted in my very personal and unique neural tissue. i can even make stuff up out of wild fantasies and things never before experienced by myself or anyone else either!

It's based on fact the media tells me. I try to weed through the opinions. I can't be everywhere in the world at one time, so I rely on the media to report news to me. Most of the time, world news has no effect (on me), so it doesn't matter if it's completely accurate or not as long as I know a major event occured.

I base my view of the world on every thing I learned from House
