I don't mind the one liners to start, but it would be nice to get a little more out of each subsequent email. I have no issue with carrying my part of the convo, but don't want to carry the whole thing. Again, though, that's just me.
Not sure what is going on to cause them to not respond *shrug* |

IT's happened to all of us. I fro one will not start a conversation with someone just to drop it later for no good reason. If I look at and respond to someone's profile , I have to realize that there is always going to be a distance thing. So I keep that in my mind when these conversations start. Am I willing to pursue this ? possibly move someday? so deep down its a question I have already asked and answered even before anything can begin between two people.
Maybe they didn't realize this might pose a problem and just dropped it while they could. |

My personal favorites are the ones who message, and you have a convo going, and suddenly you can't reply to their last note because their profile has been deactivated. Weird!

Weird! oohhh that screams of married and busted!!! LMAO yup, that was my thought too. I just laugh it off and wander away - plenty of people out here to talk to, whether relationship potential or just as friends, so I'm not going to stress over the oddballs :) |

Yes...it can be a reason why not to make a relationship with someone..but my point is...why email a guy? or a girl if you aren't planning to have a relationship? And on top of it..why not respond to an email convo that you started not me? Hi sweety hi babe! |

Maybe it's just that they met someone else that they decided to chat further with, and didn't know how to gracefully or tactfully say so? |

I'm with you Atlantis... I never really understood that because it's almost like the person demonstarted some sort of interest in you and then nothing.... I don't really question what I did wrong per se cause like was said before we do tend to window shop.... HOWEVER you guys do too.... I think I try to maintain conversations with people until it hits a wall or I end up meeting them. I've never been the one to abruptly stop though.....

So the popular and accepted explanation for this is "you guys do it too" and "I am a pansy" for mentioning it?

Hiya {{{Atlantis}}} sorry your having troubles, chin up... Sorry don't have much advice on this as I get pop up emails all the time they will email me then stop for a week then email me again with the conversation going no where.. Or once they have figured out that I do like to talk about other things besides sex I'm dropped.. Honestly there isn't anything I don't mind talking about I'm very open and honest... sorry this was your rant lol...

So the popular and accepted explanation for this is "you guys do it too" and "I am a pansy" for mentioning it? It's not really bothering me, I'm just making a thread and it's a scientific research to further understand the women's mind |

So the popular and accepted explanation for this is "you guys do it too" and "I am a pansy" for mentioning it? What did you expect people to say? It happens to everyone. Move on to a more interesting person who will respond to you. |
