blackberry Don't like it..sorry..It's giant..It's like talking to a building brick. I'm telling you..my friend has the blackberry..beside that I don't find it practical if I don't use it as like palm pilot..emails , internet , enormous amount of email addresses ..etc..I don't use those.. Here is what I want: * Rugged design that meets military specifications – 810F standards for water, shock and dust resistance; immersion; vibration, salt fog; humidity; solar radiation; altitude; and low and high temperature storage * Flashlight * Electronic compass etc etc.. http://gizmodo.com/5030089/casio-gzone-boulder-mil+spec-cellphone-crammed-with-gps-compass-lantern-and-more |

I have the LG Rumor. And I love it. It is perfect for all the text messaging that I do.

That looks like it could hold up to you... Not so sure...I ruined "rugged" phones before..the rugged motorola whatever from nextel..one of those first ones to come out with the push to talk feature. |

Atlantis... I very much recommend the GZone phone. My ex has one that he has manged not to break in over 2 years. Normally we would have to warranty his phone every 2-3 months.
It is shock, dirt, water and idiot resistant! When we'd be out with a group of people he'd drop it in a pitcher of beer and have people call it. Every time it would vibrate and ring while sitting immersed. Then, when the pitcher was near empty he'd have someone call it again and would answer it and talk to them. Also, the phone has been dropped off 10-30 foot rock faces a few times with nothing but a couple of small scratches. Has been driven over, stepped on by a horse, and carried around by the dog. The buttons are "man hand" friendly too. |

LG Scoop, slides to the side. Its cool, takes a decent pix. All-Tel-Verizon is the provider. When I got it I said to my daughter (14), it's blue and sparklie and it matches my eyes. She says "Dad, that is so Gay" And the sales rep says "Yeah my girlfriend has one in blue" |

Have a Razor with Sprint. Haven't had any problems with it. Though it has a habit of not wanting to connect with my headset. Texting is time consuming...but when done is worth it. Just wish I could figure out how to turn down the alert when a text arrives.

I have a blackberry curve. I love it!
I have my personal and business email accounts interfaced. I LOVE the Traffic Enhanced GPS too. I also like the blackberry to blackberry IM function. I have unlimited texting but IM doesn't count toward usage, and the character field in IM is limitless. I think text messaging has a limit of 160 characters. I have Verizon as my carrier -- dig my service too! |

Motorola Rzr v3. It is a tough phone I can say that. I run my batteries down fast on it though. I think it because I talk on it when it is on the charger cause I know better then to charge it before it is beeping low battery or taking it off the charger before it is fully charged. So I will be buying a new batter soon.

I thought this was going to be one of those "if you have this kind of phone you have this kind of personality" things. So I was kinda disappointed

I have a Sprint Samsung Instinct. It's all touch so I dial random people a lot. That's made for some embarassing times, and it freezes up a lot. Could be better. I want the Touch Pro. I miss my keyboard.

An LG Decoy. Got it over anything else I thought I wanted because of the ridiculous amount of travel I was doing at the time - figured the built in bluetooth made it the best deal. It's an okay phone...I don't LOVE it but it gets the job done and does allow for internet/email/etc.
