Has anyone else noticed any women on here pretending to be alot YOUNGER than they actually are? I mean by the age they post? I once got an email or two from this one member (at another site) who said she was 34. Being that I'm a rather inquisitive fellow, I started asking her questions about what a person her supposed age would know. Needless to say, she couldn't answer any of the questions I posed to her, but she DID answer a lot of questions about stuff that much older people would know. Not only that, but most of the pictures she posted on her profile just didn't jive at all- they seemed to be of someone much older. As it turned out, she was actually more like 64 years-old. Her excuse? She FELT more like a 34 year old, so that was what she decided to use as her age as well as put down in her profile. So yeah- there's a lot of wimmins out there who claim to be a lot younger than they actually are on these sites.

It's not even a matter of being "old" or not, really. It's mostly about honesty when trying to put yourself out there on the online dating meat market- how do you expect to have a realistic chance of landing a man or woman if you can't even be honest about such trivial matters as your age? That goes even for such other things as income, whether the person in question has kids or not, and a great many other things, too. It's like the saying goes- honesty is the best policy. Or something like that.
