I'll admit that I didn't read the entire thread...but having seen this topic posted many times (on here & other sites), all I have to reiterate is: Why would you even want to bother with sheeple like that?

I INTENTIONALLY did not post a pic when I first joined here... There were already a few who had known me from another site & being one of "The Picturless Dregs" was an interesting psychological study in "clique behaviour"... It was also kinda' nice to be "Unknown" here...it put me on an even footing with anyone who wished to get to know the "real me" without my "reputation" preceeding me...

I, for one, will talk to anybody & don't give a rat's azz what they think of me. Of course, there will always be the obtuse, the pompous, & the cliques...& sometimes I do find it difficult to ignore them. But I also realize that if we wish to play in the playground, there will always be turds in the sandbox. Now, I usually just point & laugh.

Just be yourself & quit worrying about "fitting in"...there's enough room here for everyone...

for me, i tend to notice that people who complain about it are the people who really want to be in a clique. when in fact there never was one to be "let in" when you dont have a picture up honestly its hard to tell you apart from all the other non pictured people. people tend to be visual and notice a comment along with a picture, and get to relate the comments along with the visual of a picture. jmo for i have had a pic up took it off and it took a while for people to realizie that it was me typing..and furthermore people that have seen you before or talked to you of course are gonna want to reply to you.

They really got conway twitty, marty robbins, and george jones too. But they all turned away from linda rondstat and spit on each other. We need to bring hee haw back!

I didn't see a rule on spitting on goofy posts here. Maybe I'm onto something. Hmmmm.
