I'm a pretty defensive driver, so I'm prepared for what's going on in front of me.

It's the stuff behind me that is scary. I've called 911 on more than one occasion for some pr!ck driving right up my butt on the highway (no, I'm not in the passing lane, nor am I driving under the speed limit). If I have to brake suddenly, there are kids that are in my backseat who would probably be severely hurt upon the inevitable impact.

drinker ... which suddenly seems like an inappropriate smiley for the topic....

People who use their signals as they change lanes. Note; signal first, look, THEN change lanes.

People who weave in and of the lanes at like 90 miles an hour.

When I see this I find myself saying sarcastically aloud...
"no sh!t?"

Backseat drivers.

I've been driving in heavy traffic for 17 years and have NEVER been in an accident. Shut the f*ck up, leave me alone, and let me drive. You're just making it MORE of a possibilty for me to lose my concentration and get in a wreck by breathing down my neck.grumble

I can not and will not stand for someone riding up on me,I will break check em and have caused a truck to go off the road because of it.

I cant stand people cutting me off and there was a time,a car cut me off and I nearly hit the gaurd railing.I had to stop pull over because I done something I would regret.

The thing I hate the most is when you're sitting behind a car at a red light, the light turns green, and they don't move. I swear, some people have the reaction time of a lump of graphite. It's like they're waiting for another color or something -- "The light is green, but I'm not sure what that means. Maybe we should sit here until we get a brown star or a silver parallelogram...."

Are you the driver behind me who honks about 3 seconds BEFORE the light changes to a flashing green? mad

Something that works quite well in the daytime. Instead of flashing your actual brakes at them, just turn on your lights. Their brain registers "brakes!" while you continue on at the speed you were driving and they slow down. That way they don't rear end you.

Texting while driving is becoming extremely dangerous for everyone. At least if your talking on the phone, you can still look to the road. I see idiots all the time on the way home from work texting away on their phones.

Even though they may be looking at the road, their mind is not on it. They're more interested in their stupid conversation about nothing instead of keeping their mind on their driving properly.

I'll agree with what everyone has said and add in those who don't understand how stop signs work.

Yeah, because I have psychic powers. I can read the light's mind, and I know when it's going to change. Plus it really has very little else to think about.

Except while they're yapping away on the phone, they're not paying attention to what's going on around them. Not staying in their own lane, speeding up and slowing down and generally not paying attention.

I almost had an accident while on the phone while driving.. scared me to death and now if I need to use the phone I will pull off to the side of the road.. And I never answer my phone while driving..will check phone at a stop.
